Staying Strong

Yesterday was the first time I went to a sit down restaurant and had a meal. Instead of stuffing my face with an appetizer, beer, and meal (half of which I took home since I had no room left to eat it) I had water, steak with grilled onions, corn and a plain baked potato. I enjoyed it and had room to finish it all!

The corn came with butter on it and I couldn't get it without so I dabbed it off and did the best I could. I did the same with the onions since I didn't know what kind of oil was used.

I think today I'm split. Of course there are "goodies" on the counter. Donuts and someone brought in a turtle cheese cake. It looks delicious, but then I think about all the extra stuff that is in a store bought concotion.

I am noticing that corn syrup is in so much that I would normally buy since I started having to look at every label.

I realized I didn't bring enough food today and those "goodies" look better and better. I can't even have anything in the snack baskets at work! I need to be prepared. Thankfully I get to go home soon!!
