Month 2

Today starts month two! I'm a fourth of the way there! I did not loose any weight this week and I also did not gain any, but hopefully that will change next week when I weigh myself. I might even be under that 150 mark!

I think I'm a little too dependent on potatoes. What can I say, I LOVE EM! So I'm not buying them for the time being. I need to eat more fruit throughout the day. I found that my frozen strawberries also are a nice pick me up at work. I put them in some tupperwear and let them unfreeze all day and when they thaw out they are very sweet and juicy. It's also a lot cheaper than trying to keep fresh fruit in the house at all times.

Other than that, I'm going with the flow. I'm trying to plan things out in advance. I am excited in a few weeks when I can add back nuts and popcorn! That will help on my dependency on potatoes and rice. I enjoy the crunch! It will also be easier to have salads with a little bit of vinegar and of course I'll be able to enjoy hot sauce again!!! :)

The new thing I tried last night was onion rings. They tasted the same to me. I didn't use any breading, but I cut them up and drizzled in olive oil lightly and salted them with sea salt. I put them under the broiler. Then I grilled them in a skillet for an additional few minutes.
