Minor setback?

I am really trying to give this my all. I went to the store after work and got a few ingredients for things I wanted to make. I also filled up our water jugs. I've never gone to get 8 gallons of water at once before!

Tonight's menu was homemade salsa (to put on chicken or something later) and lemon chicken with a potato and white onion. Well, after I made the salsa, I really wanted to try it and I have to admit I had about 4 or 5 tortilla chips. It wasn't an instant give in. I took a look at the ingredients, it said stone ground corn.

I can have corn on the plan...okay probably not exactly the way it is in a tortilla chip, but I really wanted to try the salsa and the thought of just spooning it without something sounded too over-powerful.

Do I think these couple of tortilla chips will set back my progress of the plan? No.

Is a part of me still a little disappointed in myself? Yea, kind of...

To combat any future urges to have a couple chips, I put them away in the cabinet where I cannot see them. I also moved my food into a separate cabinet so I have no reason to be tempted by everything in the house Kyle can eat.

Finally as I said I was going to do, but never got around to it. I put my motivation list up on the fridge. Those three items will help me make the right choices when I prepare a meal.

On a lighter note, it's 9 o'clock and usually I'm so exhausted after work I am in bed by 7:30 or 8:00. I'm still feeling energetic today.

Time to wind down though.

Tomorrows meal plan:

Lemon water
Fruit salad
Leftover lemon chicken, potato and onion
Brown rice cake
Stir fry? Lot's of veggies and brown rice, or maybe egg plant?
