Now that I am able to add back more foods I need to keep in mind portion control and balance. If I eat some bread with breakfast then I don't need to have more bread or chips or potatoes at lunch, etc.
Tonight I made some cheeseless nachos. I had steak (steakums), taco seasons, onions, peppers, jalepanos, and salsa with hot sauce on some whole grain tortillas.
It was so good I wanted another helping after. Once I was done eating I was pretty full. I need to keep in mind I can have left overs and they will taste just as good the next time around.
Sometimes I get so excited with the new flavors I can add back, I realize I need to slow down and really enjoy!!!
Tomorrow morning, I'm going to enjoy a fruit smoothie! :) And Start week 14!!
