I cannot believe it's been almost a month already since I began this program. Today is the end of week 3, tomorrow starts week 4.
I had a good sweat session last night. I've been sleeping well, but almost to the point where I wake up and still want another couple hours because it's been so relaxing!
I've noticed my taste buds starting to change even more. I went to Kyle's work dinner and honestly, I don't think any of that food was allowed on the plan, but I did have a little of what I wouldn't feel guilty eating. Then the dessert was placed in front of everyone. Everyone had a brownie with a scoop of ice cream on top with chocolate sauce. Normally I would gobble that up!
I felt a little discouraged not being able to eat much that evening that I gave in and dipped my finger to try the ice cream and I had a crubmle of the brownie. Truth is, it wasn't even satisfying. If anything, it made me more empowered being on the plan!
I went to the bathroom after dinner and I heard these ladies in the bathroom talking about how full they were from dinner and one lady said that she wished her green shirt she wanted to wear for the night had fit her. Again, this made me feel more empowered with my decision.
In the begining of the week, my boss offered to take me and another woman to lunch after an e-learning consultant came in to meet with us. I had a salad. It was good. That was the first time I tried salad and enjoyed it with olive oil and lemon juice. I brought a salad for lunch today and also enjoyed that. Here is what I did:
Organic mix baby greens
Cut up onion and tomato
Drissle of olive oil
Squeeze of two lemon slices
Little bit of salt and pepper
Turkey bacon (watch for ingredients, some are not allowed on the plan)
and the secret ingredient, dill
I also recently tried making pot roast, that I will try tonight (put it in the crock pot yesterday)
And I also tried the South American Chili from the book. Turned out great!
My creativity comes and goes. Sometimes I just eat an apple for breakfast and continue on with my day. The key is to drink lot's of water!
Weight at the end of week 3 = a solid 150lbs
I haven't been under 150 in a long time, it will be exciting to see that number continue to drop!
